Welcome to the website of First Presbyterian Church of Arlington.  We hope that these few pages will give you a good introduction to the family of Christians who make FPCA their church home. We are a growing community of believers who choose faith over cynicism, but do not believe that faith is always unquestioning.  We are proud of our traditions and history, but know that the Christian life is about living gracefully and lovingly in the world today while hoping in the future that has been promised to us in the Gospels.  Our congregation is made up of old and young, a variety of economic backgrounds and family types. The Biblical mandate of hospitality is the basis for how we live our lives as a church family.  And new additions to our family are always welcome and celebrated. We believe that worship, education, service, and fellowship are vital to the Christian life and our church programs and events involve God’s children of every age.  Sunday morning worship, midweek Bible studies, Sunday School, Christmas Fairs, St. Patrick’s Day Dinners, Pancake Breakfasts, harvest parties, running Heaven Cent (our Thrift Shop) are just a few of the ways we walk the Christian journey together, building fellowship and refreshing ourselves for action in the world, knowing that the work we do together is greater than what we can do alone.  Come and join us.  You’ll find a warm welcome awaiting you.
